Sophie Molineux faces injury doubt ahead of Bangladesh ODI series

Australia women's captain Sophie Molineux faces uncertainty regarding her availability for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Bangladesh due to a hip injury. Molineux was recently omitted from Victoria’s squad for the opening round of the Women’s National Cricket League, and Cricket Australia is currently monitoring her condition without providing a definitive recovery timeline.

Despite the injury concerns, Molineux has acknowledged the skill of the Bangladesh side. She noted that Bangladesh presents unique tactical challenges, particularly with their bowling attack, which includes different pace variations and spin options. The series is scheduled to take place in Brisbane on October 9, 11, and 14.
