Sophie Turner debuts brunette look at Ballon d’Or ceremony

Actress Sophie Turner made her red carpet debut with dark brunette hair at the 70th Ballon d’Or ceremony held at the Palladium Theatre in London. The 30-year-old, widely recognized for her role as Sansa Stark in ‘Game of Thrones’, wore a black Louis Vuitton double-breasted blazer and trousers to complement her new hairstyle.

Turner previously shared her hair transformation on social media, but this event marked her first major public appearance with the darker hue. She noted in a recent interview that while blonde hair typically receives the most positive public reaction, she enjoys the brunette look because it allows her to blend into crowds and enjoy more anonymity.

The change in appearance is linked to her upcoming role as Lara Croft in the Amazon Prime ‘Tomb Raider’ adaptation, which is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
