Sopot demolishes office building for new residential development

In Sopot, the Karat office building at Aleja Niepodległości 645B is being demolished after more than 50 years of operation. The site will be transformed into the ‘Sopot 645’ residential investment by Orlex MG. The project will feature 28 apartments ranging from approximately 44 to 100 square meters, along with ground-floor service units. Prices for the new units are expected to start at around 1.09 million PLN. The development includes a garage, balconies, terraces, and views of the Gdańsk Bay, with completion scheduled for June 2028.

In Zduńska Wola, the city is undergoing thermal modernization of two municipal buildings located at ul. Stefana Złotnickiego 11 and 13. Funded by European Union grants through the ‘European Funds for Łódzkie 2021-2027’ program, the projects aim to increase energy efficiency. Improvements include external wall and roof insulation, new roofing, photovoltaic installations, air conditioning, and the replacement of windows and doors. The works also include making the buildings more accessible for people with disabilities. The investment is expected to be completed by spring 2027.
