Sopot Festival introduces jury for Bursztynowy Słowik competition

The Top of the Top Sopot Festival is introducing a new format for its Bursztynowy Słowik competition. For the first time since 2009, a professional jury will participate in deciding the winner, sharing equal weight with the public vote. The final result will be determined by a 50/50 split between expert opinions and viewer votes.

The jury features prominent figures in Polish culture, including singer-songwriter Katarzyna Nosowska, producer and multi-instrumentalist Andrzej Smolik, and composer Łukasz L. U. C. Rostkowski.

Competing artists for this year's award include Anna Karwan, Oceana, Jeremi Sikorski, Jovi, Kuba i Kuba, Kasia Sienkiewicz, Natalia Muianga, EMO, and Sarsa. The festival is produced by Festival Group and will be broadcast by TVN, with the competition scheduled for August 25.
