Sopot Pier sets new attendance record with 1.1 million visitors
The Sopot Pier in Poland has achieved a record-breaking season, surpassing its previous high set in 2023. According to Sopot Mayor Magdalena Czarzyńska-Jachim, the paid season from April 10 to September 30 saw a total of 1,105,711 entries.
This figure represents an increase of approximately 14,720 entries compared to the previous record-holding year. August was identified as the busiest month, with over 322,000 visitors. While the majority of tickets were purchased at traditional cash desks, there was a noted increase in the use of the Sopot Resident Card, which saw nearly 33,000 entries.
Following the conclusion of the season, the city is preparing for winter maintenance and infrastructure projects. These include the dismantling of the pier's lower terraces and renovations funded by external resources to modernize the Sopot Marina and improve mooring facilities.
