SOPREMA begins construction of new plant in San Miguel de Allende

Canadian company SOPREMA has begun construction on a new industrial plant in the San Miguel de Allende Business Polygon in Guanajuato, Mexico. The project is expected to create 250 direct jobs.

The company, which specializes in waterproofing, thermal and acoustic insulation, and green roof solutions, plans to develop the site in three to four additional phases. The goal is to establish an industrial campus capable of serving construction and civil engineering markets across Mexico, North and Central America, and South America.
