Sora hosts Caribbean festival to promote Cuban culture

The fourth edition of the “Velada Caribeña” festival, held in Sora, Italy, focused on Cuban culture and solidarity. Organized by the “Academia Caribeña” Cultural and Recreational Association, the event featured dance exhibitions, music, and dance performances.

During the festival, officials from the Cuban Embassy in Italy participated in a press conference alongside local Italian authorities and solidarity organizations. Discussions addressed Cuba's current situation and the impact of unilateral coercive measures and economic blockades imposed by the United States.

The City of Sora presented a commemorative plaque to the Cuban Embassy to signal commitment to strengthening cooperation. In conjunction with the festival, mobile consular services were provided in Sora and other locations within the Frosinone province to support the Cuban community in the region.
