Sorba Thomas escapes injury in car accident near Hull City training ground

Hull City winger Sorba Thomas escaped injury after his vehicle was involved in a serious road traffic accident near the club’s training facilities in Cottingham on Friday morning.

The 27-year-old Wales international was driving a Land Rover Defender on Millhouse Woods Lane when the vehicle overturned. Images of the overturned car circulating on social media prompted immediate concern among supporters.

Hull City released a statement to reassure fans, confirming that Thomas emerged from the vehicle completely unscathed. The club stated, “We’re relieved to confirm that Sorba Thomas is unharmed.”

Humberside Police attended the scene, and local residents reported hearing a loud impact during the incident. Thomas, who recently joined the club from Stoke City, has made two appearances for the team since his transfer.
