Soresina festival to host relic of Saint Carlo Acutis

The Oratorio di Soresina festival will feature the relic of Saint Carlo Acutis. The relic is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, September 1, being received at the San Siro parish church before a procession to the Oratorio.

A Mass will be held at the Buon Pastore church to commemorate the “guardian angels” of the Sirino. The event includes opportunities for Eucharistic adoration and reconciliation, with a specific invitation extended to youth and adolescents.

Carlo Acutis, known as the “millennial saint” or “God’s influencer,” was born in London in 1991 and died in 2006. He is recognized for using the internet to document Eucharistic miracles. He was canonized by Pope Leo XIV on September 7, 2025. In Soresina, he is regarded as the protector of the Oratorio Sirino.
