Sorgun hosts SORFEST Summer Festival with vehicle fair and concerts

The SORFEST Summer Festival in Sorgun, Yozgat, featured diverse activities including a modified vehicle fair and live musical performances.

The modified vehicle fair, held at the Sorgun Nature Park drift track, attracted enthusiasts from cities such as Ankara, Istanbul, Tokat, Kayseri, and Çorum. Participants showcased custom engine modifications and interior/exterior designs, performing maneuvers like drifting and slalom. Sorgun Mayor M. Erkut Ekinci expressed his intention to establish SORFEST as a major regional festival.

On the festival's second day at Şakir Efendi Square, thousands of attendees gathered for concerts by the alternative rock group Mavi Gri and pop artist Hande Ünsal. During the event, Yozgat Governor Mehmet Ali Özkan addressed the crowd, emphasizing unity and thanking the local administration and security forces for their coordination. The festival program is scheduled to continue through August 9.
