Soria and Salamanca announce regional development and property initiatives

In Soria, the Provincial Council has approved the 'Plan Soria 2026', mobilizing 595,000 euros across five subsidy lines. These funds target youth housing, small business investment, generational business succession, rural bar maintenance, and vocational training scholarships.

A significant portion of the Soria budget, 280,000 euros, is allocated to youth housing. The program has increased the maximum age eligibility from 36 to 40 years. Beneficiaries in municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants can receive non-repayable aid covering 50% of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of 5,000 euros, provided they maintain permanent residency for at least five years.

In Ledrada, Salamanca, the Junta de Castilla y León has announced a public auction for a commercial property located near the railway tracks. The 78.74 m² space is part of the 'Estación' social housing complex. The initial valuation is set at 14,835.40 euros, with a provision for descending price steps in subsequent auctions if the initial bids are unsuccessful.
