Soria officials plan new women's football league

The Diputación de Soria is developing a new women's football competition known as the Liga Interpueblos to preserve the sport in the province. According to Benito Serrano, president of the Diputación, the league is expected to feature between six and eight teams.

The competition format is still being finalized, but officials aim for a schedule consisting of two to three rounds. The matches will likely be played as 7-a-side or 8-a-side football. Additionally, the top four teams from this league will qualify for the semifinals of the Copa Diputación.
