Soria Prosecutor's Office warns of AI's impact on crime

The Prosecutor's Office of Soria has issued a warning regarding the impact of artificial intelligence on criminal activity. In its annual report, the Public Ministry highlights the potential for AI to be used in the commission of crimes, noting that while the concepts of these offenses may not be new, their methods and scope are changing.

The report emphasizes that determining the legal responsibility of AI is a growing concern. It suggests that digital education, prevention, and ethics will become as vital as legal penalties in addressing these challenges. Furthermore, the Soria Prosecutor's Office calls for an immediate adaptation of European technical and legal rules for AI use into national legislation to address the rise in cybercrime facilitated by these technologies.
