Soria Regional Houses Gather in San Esteban de Gormaz

The 34th meeting of the Casas Regionales de Soria was held in San Esteban de Gormaz, bringing together representatives from eleven entities across Spain and Buenos Aires. Delegations from Alcalá de Henares, Barcelona, Cantabria, Madrid, Sevilla, Valencia, Valladolid, Burgos, Zaragoza, Bilbao and Buenos Aires participated, along with young leaders from Castilla y León programs.

The event honored Agustín de Toro Lafuente, longtime president of the Centro Soriano Numancia de Bilbao, recognizing his contributions to Sorian associative life. Authorities at provincial, autonomous and local levels highlighted the role of the regional houses in preserving Sorian identity and fostering cultural projects beyond the province’s borders.
