Soria sees surge in zero-emission vehicle registrations

In Soria, the registration of vehicles with the DGT ‘CERO’ environmental label saw a significant increase in 2025. There were 225 new registrations of these high-efficiency vehicles, compared to 57 in the previous year.

These zero-emission vehicles, which include battery electric, extended-range electric, plug-in hybrids with at least 40 km of electric autonomy, and fuel cell vehicles, now represent 21% of the total passenger car registrations in the province. This growth follows the opening of the ‘Auto+’ Program by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, which provides subsidies for individuals purchasing zero-emission vehicles.
