Soria to implement new organic waste recycling system

Residents of Soria will soon be able to use new brown organic waste containers, which will require a specialized access card to unlock. The system is designed to be voluntary, aimed at increasing selective recycling to reduce common waste and facilitate composting.

Local officials are considering distribution methods for the cards, such as mail delivery or pickup at information points. The initiative is expected to be fully operational before Christmas, following an upcoming information campaign. The local waste treatment plant in Golmayo is already prepared to process organic matter through its dedicated line.
