Despite his professional expertise in preparing sophisticated dishes, Bontea revealed that butter is the one essential ingredient that is never missing from his refrigerator.

He noted that he enjoys simple combinations, frequently opting for bread with butter and salt. Other preferred snacks include bread with butter and honey or homemade plum jam.

Regarding his home life, Bontea admitted that he does not cook as often as fans might expect. He stated that his wife typically handles the majority of the meal preparation for the family, as both prefer cooked meals and the menu often adapts to the preferences of their children.
