Sorocaba Gardening Club resumes activities at Jardim Botânico

The Sorocaba Gardening Club will resume its weekly meetings on Wednesday, 5 August, from 08:30 to 11:00 at the Jardim Botânico “Irmãos Villas‑Bôas”. The program for the second half of 2026 includes a guided visit to the exhibition “Entrelaços”, curated by Silvia Stecca with support from the municipal environmental secretariat (Sema). The show blends art, technology and sustainability and features photographs by Sergio Roberg, as well as ceramics, mobiles and textile panels.

A public conversation titled “O que queremos?” will follow, allowing participants to discuss expectations for future activities. The events are open to anyone over 18 years old, require no prior registration, and are held every useful Wednesday. The club was created by the Sorocoba city hall through Sema in 2023 to promote gardening and environmental education.
