Sorocaba holds free Caravana Cultural events in two neighborhoods

The Sorocaba city government, through the Secretariat of Culture and in partnership with Douver Circus, organized free Caravana Cultural programs in the neighborhoods of Jardim Santa Bárbara and Brigadeiro Tobias.

In Jardim Santa Bárbara, the event took place on Saturday, April 4, from 15:00 to 20:00 on Dr. Américo Figueiredo Street, offering circus shows, dance, capoeira, inflatable toys, a theatrical performance by Associação Fazendo Arte, and a variety of municipal services such as a mobile medical clinic, zoonoses exhibition, Procon assistance, tree‑seedling distribution, CRAS support and a therapy‑dog unit.

In Brigadeiro Tobias, the caravan arrived on Wednesday, April 8, at Avenida Bandeirantes near the Casa do Cidadão parking lot, featuring similar cultural attractions, painting workshops, artistic exhibitions, sports activities, a women‑entrepreneur craft fair, and the same set of public‑service booths.
