Sorocaba hosts Taça Baltazar Fernandes 2026 semifinals
The Prefeitura de Sorocaba, through the Secretaria de Esporte e Qualidade de Vida (Sequav), is staging the first‑leg semifinals of the Taça Baltazar Fernandes 2026, the third division of its municipal varzeano football championship. The matches take place on Sunday, July 2, with CA Barcelona facing Vila FC/Vila Rica at 8:30 a.m. at Estádio Euzébio Moreno and Manchester Paulista EC playing Amigos de Sorocaba FC at 10:30 a.m. at Campo do Jair. The competition featured 32 teams; the four semifinalists have already secured places in the next‑year Taça Palácio dos Tropeiros, the second division.
