Sorocaba launches new digital Mobility Portal

The City of Sorocaba, through its Secretariat of Mobility (Semob), has launched the ‘Portal da Mobilidade’. The new digital platform centralizes traffic-related information and services for the general public.

Previously, many traffic services required citizens to visit the Semob headquarters in person. Through the new portal, residents can now request road signaling maintenance (such as speed bumps, pedestrian crossings, and signage), request educational actions like lectures, and report traffic violations or abandoned vehicles. The platform also facilitates authorizations for elderly or disabled parking and the release of impounded vehicles.

Additionally, the portal features an online map under the ‘Trânsito agora’ section, allowing users to monitor real-time traffic interference and high-traffic routes. The launch coincides with the conclusion of the National Traffic Week.
