Sorocaba's Procon Mobile to serve public at Praça Coronel Fernando Prestes next week

The municipal consumer protection agency (Procon) of Sorocaba will operate a mobile unit at Praça Coronel Fernando Prestes in the city centre on Monday (13), Wednesday (15) and Friday (17) of next week. The service will be available from 9 am to 1 pm each day and does not require prior appointments.

Visitors can receive assistance on consumer‑rights issues, obtain help with the Programa de Apoio ao Superendividado (PAS) and negotiate debt repayments. The Procon Mobile is part of the Sorocaba City Hall’s Secretariat of Government and records complaints, provides guidance and forwards cases as needed.

Procon’s permanent offices remain open at Avenida Antônio Carlos Comitre, 331 in Campolim (9 am‑4 pm, Mon‑Fri) and at several “Casas do Cidadão” locations, as well as a unit in Pátio Cianê Shopping. Consumers may also contact the agency via WhatsApp at (15) 99111‑7448 or through its website.
