Sorong hosts anniversary events for Traffic Police and TNI

In Sorong, various commemorative activities are being held to mark the anniversaries of the Indonesian National Police's Traffic Directorate and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI).

To celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Traffic Police, the Southwest Papua Regional Police (Polda Papua Barat Daya) organized a blood donation drive. The event involved personnel from the police, military, and the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), aimed at providing social contributions and strengthening synergy between security forces and the community.

Simultaneously, Korem 181/Praja Vira Tama is hosting an open volleyball tournament to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the TNI. The tournament includes teams from the public, students, and security forces, with the goal of identifying talented athletes and promoting sportsmanship and national athletic achievement.
