Soroptimist Terni announces 60th anniversary program

The Soroptimist International Club of Terni has unveiled its program of initiatives to celebrate its 60th anniversary. Founded in 1966, the club has focused on social and professional projects within the Terni community, specifically targeting health, education, culture, and human rights.

Club President Marialaura Scarcella introduced the theme ‘Custodire l’Umano attraverso i Diritti’ (Guarding the Human through Rights) for the 2026 celebrations. The theme connects the club's mission to the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi, emphasizing values of fraternity and human dignity. Planned activities will focus on promoting human rights, advancing women's status, and combating gender-based violence.
