Sorp services in Cuiabá remain unavailable due to technical failures
The Municipal Secretariat of Public Order (Sorp) in Cuiabá reports that its Protocol and Web Denúncias services remain temporarily unavailable. The outage was caused by power supply issues and a broken fiber optic cable following recent heavy rains.
While electricity was restored on Monday, the damaged fiber optic line has compromised internet access and institutional systems. The disruption affects the Web Denúncias platform, Animal Welfare, Civil Defense, and Cuiabá Regula services. Although internet connectivity has returned, the department's data center remains offline due to previous electrical issues.
Systems are expected to be fully restored by Monday, the 28th. During this period, in-person service is limited to a post at the Centro Integrado de Atendimento ao Contribuinte (CIAC) for tree pruning requests and special event licenses. The Secretariat stated that a specific ordinance will be published to establish new deadlines and procedures for administrative defenses and other manifestations subject to legal timeframes.
