Sorrento Calcio launches charity shirt auction while negotiating striker Ernesto Starita's contract

Sorrento Calcio held a charity auction on Charitystars offering special‑edition shirts made to mark the club’s 80th anniversary in 2026. The shirts, worn in a match against Latina on 5 March 2026 at Stadio Francioni, are unique memorabilia for supporters. All proceeds will be donated to the RF78 – PerSempreRoby association, created in 2021 in memory of young fan Roberto Fiorentino and dedicated to cultural and community projects.

At the same time, the club is in talks with striker Ernesto Starita over a consensual termination of his contract. Disagreements focus on a severance payment exceeding €200,000. If an agreement is reached, Starita would become a free agent and could evaluate offers from Sorrento, which currently leads the pursuit, though other clubs have also shown interest.
