Brazilian police detain suspects in drug trafficking and robbery cases across Mato Grosso and Minas Gerais
In Alta Floresta, civil and military police arrested a young man suspected of drug trafficking. In Sorriso, military police seized firearms and 47 parcels of drugs.
In Sinop, civil police executed a warrant and captured a suspect linked to a May robbery in Sorriso, also charging him with drug trafficking, extortion, money‑laundering and organized‑crime offenses. Authorities said the group had committed other robberies in the region.
In Juiz de Fora, civil police apprehended a 21‑year‑old suspect involved in a McDonald’s robbery. The arrest also uncovered marijuana, recovered part of the stolen cash, and confiscated equipment taken from the restaurant.
