Sort and Ordino host regional circus and urban culture festivals

The town of Sort is hosting the inaugural ‘Circ Jove al Pirineu’ on October 16 and 17. This event aims to establish a reference point for new generations in the circus sector within the Alt Pirineu, Terres de Lleida, and Catalonia. Part of the ‘Plà d’Impuls del Circ de Catalunya’, the program includes a circus cabaret, workshops in aerial trapeze, trampoline, and clowning, and a closing performance by the Flying Pikmis company.

In Ordino, the Virolat urban culture festival is taking place from October 16 to 18. This edition features a record number of twelve graffiti artists, including Clarafosca, El Rughi, and Hadrien Bluchet, who will paint park walls during a three-day jam. The festival also includes an intergenerational spray painting workshop, a graffiti contest for local students, and musical performances by various DJs and artists.
