Sosh introduces high-speed fiber plan with 8 Gbps speeds
Sosh, a brand owned by Orange, has launched the Sosh Boost Fibre plan, targeting users who prioritize extreme network speeds over traditional services. The plan offers theoretical download speeds of up to 8 Gbps and upload speeds of up to 2 Gbps using XGS-PON technology on the Orange fiber network.
To achieve these performance levels, the subscription utilizes the Livebox 7 SE router, which integrates Wi-Fi 7 technology. This allows for wireless connections up to three times faster than previous standards on the 5 GHz band.
The service is designed for high-bandwidth activities such as downloading large video games and managing multiple simultaneous 4K streams. However, the plan omits traditional extras; it does not include fixed-line telephony or television services, focusing exclusively on high-speed internet access.
