Sosnowiec hospital to expand cardiology and physiotherapy facilities

The Provincial Specialist Hospital No. 5 in Sosnowiec is set to undergo a significant expansion of the ‘Willa Ogrodnika’ building. The investment, exceeding 12 million PLN, will increase the facility's area from approximately 430 square meters to over 1,560 square meters by connecting the existing structure with a modern, polygonal wing.

Once completed, the expanded facility will provide specialized services for patients requiring daytime cardiology care and outpatient physiotherapy, including those recovering from orthopedic procedures. The project emphasizes accessibility, featuring the installation of an elevator, external ramps, and adapted sanitary facilities for individuals with limited mobility.

The renovation will also integrate energy-efficient technologies, such as mechanical ventilation, air conditioning, and advanced security systems, while preserving the historical character of the original villa.
