Sosuke Ikematsu visits Toyotomi Kyodai! exhibition in Tokyo

Actor Sosuke Ikematsu attended a press conference for the special exhibition ‘Toyotomi Kyodai!’ held at the Edo-Tokyo Museum in Ryogoku, Tokyo. The exhibition, which runs from November 15 to November 8, commemorates the museum's renewal and focuses on Toyotomi Hidenaga, the brother of Toyotomi Hideyoshi.

Ikematsu, who portrays Hideyoshi in the current NHK Taiga drama, expressed deep emotion while viewing the historical artifacts. He noted that seeing the tea caddy once owned by Hidenaga was particularly moving, as very few items belonging to Hidenaga have survived to the present day. The exhibition also features materials related to Oda Nobunaga, Tokugawa Ieyasu, Kuroda Kanbei, and Sen no Rikyu.

Taiga Nakano, who plays Hidenaga in the drama, provided the audio guide for the exhibition. Ikematsu commented on the importance of portraying the bond between the brothers during a turbulent era and expressed his commitment to completing the final stages of the drama's production.
