Sotogrande Named Hub for Spain's Top Golf Courses and Marinas

La Reserva Club in the Sotogrande estate was placed sixth in Golf Digest’s latest ranking of Spanish golf courses, giving the area three of the nation’s top six venues alongside Real Club Valderrama (No. 1) and Real Club de Golf Sotogrande (No. 3). The ranking highlights Sotogrande’s reputation as a premier golf destination in Europe.

In the maritime sector, Puerto Sotogrande achieved fifth place in the national list of Spain’s largest marinas by number of water berths, operating 1,382 berths. The marina leads all Andalusian sites and underlines its role in recreational boating, tourism, and local economic growth.

Both achievements reinforce Sotogrande’s status as a key leisure and tourism hub on Spain’s southern coast, supporting sport, tourism, and related economic activity.
