Sotreq opens mechanic training vacancies in Minas Gerais
Sotreq has opened four vacancies for its Mechanic Training School, a six-month program designed for individuals seeking careers in heavy machinery maintenance. The training focuses on Caterpillar equipment and will be held in person in Contagem, Minas Gerais.
Candidates from Itabirito, Congonhas, Conselheiro Lafaiete, Nova Lima, Belo Horizonte, and Contagem are eligible to apply. For participants residing in other regions, the company will provide accommodation during the training period. The curriculum includes theoretical and practical lessons involving workshops, laboratories, and simulators, covering component assembly, testing, and preventive and corrective maintenance.
Requirements include a completed high school education and availability for in-person attendance and short trips. Benefits offered include medical and dental assistance, a R$ 400 food allowance, a cafeteria, transportation, and pharmacy assistance. Upon successful completion, participants may be eligible for permanent employment as a Mining Mechanic I, subject to technical and behavioral performance.
