SOU SEGURA honored for promoting women in the insurance market

The 8th edition of the Insurance Corp Awards was held on September 15 in São Paulo, recognizing prominent professionals and institutions within the insurance and reinsurance sectors. The event brought together executives, brokers, insurers, and legal representatives to celebrate industry excellence.

Among the honorees, the association SOU SEGURA was recognized as the “Entity focused on the expansion and appreciation of women in the insurance market.” The award highlights the association's efforts in promoting gender equity through initiatives such as the Mentorship Program, SouMBA, and Juntos por Elas. SOU SEGURA President Camila Maximo stated that the recognition demonstrates the growing relevance of discussing women's participation in the sector and aims to transform these discussions into concrete opportunities for leadership and professional development.

Other notable award recipients included Juliana Alves (Swiss Re) as Executive of the Year for Reinsurance, Karsten Steinmetz (Munich Re Brasil) as Executive of the Year for Reinsurance, Patricia Chacon (Porto) as Executive of the Year for Insurance, and Eduard Folch (Allianz) as Executive of the Year for Insurance.
