Soudal Quick-Step avoids high-cost transfers and prepares for Tour de Luxembourg

Soudal Quick-Step CEO Jurgen Foré has confirmed that the Belgian cycling team will not be making any rushed signings for the upcoming season due to high transfer costs. Despite the departure of climbers Mikel Landa and Mauri Vansevenant, the team decided against pursuing new talent because the financial expectations of potential riders were deemed too high.

In competitive news, the team is preparing for the Tour de Luxembourg with a six-man roster. The squad features experienced riders Jasper Stuyven and Dylan van Baarle, alongside Gil Gelders, Andrea Raccagni, Pepijn Reinderink, and Gauthier Servranckx. The team aims for both stage wins and a strong position in the general classification during the five-day race, which includes steep climbs and a 20.4-kilometer individual time trial.
