SOUEAST conducts S08 i-DM media test drive in Mexico

SOUEAST conducted its first long-distance media test drive of the S08 i-DM in Mexico on August 5, 2026. More than 30 automotive media professionals and influencers participated in a 260km round trip from Mexico City to Valle de Bravo to evaluate the 7-seat urban SUV.

Participants highlighted the vehicle's energy efficiency and driving comfort. The S08 i-DM features the Kunpeng C-DM Hybrid System, which utilizes a 1.5TD hybrid-dedicated engine and super hybrid DHT transmission. The vehicle offers a maximum power of 255kW, a maximum torque of 525N·m, and a combined range exceeding 800km. It also provides an 89km WLTC pure-electric range.

The vehicle's chassis and suspension systems were specifically designed for Latin American road conditions to improve stability and comfort. Interior features include a 15.6-inch rotating smart screen, a 12-speaker surround sound system, and a 7-seat layout with various configurations. SOUEAST currently operates a network of 41 dealerships in Mexico.
