Souk Ahras border officials seize 76,995 euros from five travelers

Five travelers, including two women, were intercepted by Algerian border police and customs officials at the El-Haddada border crossing in the Souk Ahras province. Authorities seized 76,995 euros that were found hidden against the suspects' bodies, specifically within their underwear and clothing, in an attempt to evade detection.

The individuals face charges related to violations of currency exchange regulations and the illegal movement of capital abroad. Following the initial intervention, the suspects were transferred to the economic and financial crime brigade in Souk Ahras for further investigation and judicial proceedings.
