Soul Bang’s and Manamba Kanté to perform in Abidjan

Guinean musical duo Soul Bang’s and Manamba Kanté are set to perform at the Palais de la Culture in Abidjan on October 3. Titled ‘Le concert de la fraternité’, the event is organized by CERC and Terre de Son.

The concert program is designed to showcase the individual talents of both artists through solo performances before they join together for a duo set. The initiative aims to promote Guinean culture within the Ivorian music scene and strengthen cultural ties between the two nations.

Organizers noted that while Ivorian artists frequently tour Guinea, this event seeks to reverse that trend by providing a platform for Guinean creators to reach the broader Francophone African market. The event is intended to serve as a showcase for Guinean traditions and musical innovation.
