Soul II Soul to headline Sani Festival in Greece’s Halkidiki

British soul collective Soul II Soul is scheduled to perform at the Sani Festival on Saturday, 8 August 2026. The concert will take place on Sani Hill within the Sani Resort grounds on the Kassandra peninsula in Halkidiki, Greece.

Fronted by Jazzie B, the group rose to fame with the 1989 debut album Club Classics Vol. One, which earned two Grammy Awards and sold over ten million copies worldwide. Signature singles such as “Keep On Movin’” and “Back To Life (However Do You Want Me)” topped charts in the UK and gained international airplay. Over the years Soul II Soul collaborated with artists including James Brown, Sinéad O’Connor, Nas and Destiny’s Child, and extended its brand into fashion through the Funki Dred label and stores in London and Tokyo.

The Sani Festival, a long‑standing cultural event in Greece since 1982, has hosted more than 400 concerts spanning rock, jazz, world music and Greek song. This year’s lineup places Soul II Soul between the Irish rock band The Waterboys and a concert by Greek artist Vicky Leandros, highlighting the festival’s eclectic programming and its appeal to both local audiences and international visitors.
