SoundHound AI raises revenue guidance amid accelerating growth

SoundHound AI has reported accelerating revenue growth, with Q2 revenue increasing 45% year-over-year to $61.9 million. Consequently, the company has raised its full-year guidance to a range between $230 million and $260 million.

Despite this growth, the company's stock has declined 25.68% year-to-date and 53.4% over the past year. Investors have expressed concerns regarding cash burn, dilution, and the company's path to profitability, noting that cash on hand decreased from $248.5 million to $202.8 million over a six-month period.

CEO Keyvan Mohajer confirmed that regulatory approvals have been secured for the LivePerson acquisition, with combined 2027 revenue projected to be at least $350 million to $400 million. Recent business wins include an eight-figure contract in Latin America and a seven-figure automotive deal in China.
