Soundos Mosbah leads French film 'Le Triangle d’or' on ultra‑rich elite
The French drama *Le Triangle d’or*, presented in competition at Cannes 2024, marks the first major screen role for actress Soundos Mosbah. The 18‑year‑old, born in France to Moroccan and Egyptian parents, plays Souria, a reclusive woman living in a luxurious Parisian hotel owned by a Saudi prince. The story follows her relationship with a servant, Laura (Malou Khebizi), and explores themes of ultra‑wealth, power and feminist critique.
Directed by Hélène Rosselet‑Ruiz and produced by Marie‑Ange Luciani, the film draws on the director’s personal experience working for a wealthy Saudi family in Paris. Mosbah, who recently appeared in the Mexican indie *The Grill* and will join the second season of the series *Young Sherlock*, is noted for her rapid ascent from serving tables to leading a Cannes‑selected feature.
