Soundtrack Poděbrady festival returns for 11th edition

The 11th annual Soundtrack Poděbrady international film music and multimedia festival is scheduled to take place from August 27 to 30, 2026, in Poděbrady, Czech Republic. The event features a program of live music, large-scale film projections, lectures, and multimedia shows.

Key highlights of this year's program include a performance by Oscar and Grammy winner Markéta Irglová, who is expected to perform hits from the film ‘Once’. Another major attraction is a unique concert screening of the Czech film ‘Tmavomodrý svět’, accompanied by the Pardubice Chamber Philharmonic conducted by Adam Klemens.

Additionally, the festival will host a ‘Best of Bond’ concert performed by the Unique Orchestra, featuring iconic melodies from the James Bond series such as ‘Goldfinger’ and ‘Skyfall’. Festival director Miroslav Paskovský noted the growing global phenomenon of concert versions of film scores, even for films that have not yet completed their theatrical runs.
