Sourcetable launches AI-powered generators for Excel tables and resumes

Sourcetable announced the rollout of a suite of AI generators that create spreadsheet templates from natural‑language prompts. The first wave, launched on 29 July 2026, includes generators for expense tables, budget layouts and project schedules, automatically populating fields such as date, description, amount, category and status. A second release on 31 July 2026 adds a resume‑template generator that links Microsoft Excel with OpenAI’s ChatGPT, producing fully formatted CVs with sections for summary, work experience, education, skills and certifications. The tools aim to reduce manual setup time in teams that rely on Excel for financial tracking and hiring processes, leveraging large‑language‑model capabilities while keeping outputs compatible with standard Excel workflows.
