Cultural festivals and heritage events held across Portugal, Brazil, and Mozambique

Various cultural, musical, and heritage events are taking place across Portugal, Brazil, and Mozambique.

In Portugal, the European Heritage Days are being observed in Alpiarça and Celorico de Basto, focusing on preservation and local history. Other regional events include the XIX Music Band Festival in Vila Nova de Cerveira, the Em Nome da Terra literary festival in Gouveia, and municipal celebrations in Viseu and Santarém. Musical traditions are also highlighted in Águeda with the UBA Band Festival.

In Brazil, diverse festivities are underway, including the Plante Rio socio-environmental meeting in Rio de Janeiro, the Amir Haddad Theater Festival in Lapa, and the 63rd Folkloric and Ethnic Festival in Paraná. Musical and religious events include the Christian Festival in Petrolina, the São Francisco das Chagas festivities in Roraima, and the Itaquá Rodeio Fest.
