Souroti to diversify into beer, beverages, and cosmetics

Souroti, the historic Thessaloniki-based mineral water company owned by Ivan Savvidis, is undergoing a major strategic transformation to diversify its product portfolio. Under the leadership of CEO Frinda Meletidi, the company plans to expand beyond mineral water into beer, natural and functional beverages, tea, and cosmetics based on its spring water.

To support this expansion, a significant investment plan has been announced, which includes the complete reconstruction of existing facilities and the construction of a new production unit. This new facility, expected to be operational by early 2028, will feature two modern production lines to significantly boost capacity. Recent investments have already increased production capacity by 80% and doubled water utilization rates.

Financial reports indicate a slight decline in recent performance, with 2025 turnover reaching €16.88 million compared to €17.15 million in 2024. Net profits were recorded at €964,000, down from €1.17 million the previous year. Despite the decrease in overall scale, the company improved its gross profit margin to 52.8% from 50.68%, aided by a 5.8% reduction in the cost of sales.
