South Aegean Development Agency sets 2027 goals in Denizli

The South Aegean Development Agency (GEKA) held its 176th Board of Directors meeting in Denizli, hosted by the Denizli Governorship. Chaired by Aydın Governor Dr. Osman Varol, the meeting included regional governors from Denizli and Muğla, as well as local municipal and chamber leaders.

During the session, the board reviewed the 2026 interim activity reports and established the agency's 2027 work program. Key strategic initiatives for 2027 include the development of new destinations for alternative tourism, the strengthening of producer organizations, and the implementation of green and digital transformations within the manufacturing industry.

The agency aims to increase the tourism capacity of the Aydın, Denizli, and Muğla regions by creating new routes and enhancing local development through value-added production and sustainable growth strategies.
