South Aegean Open Farm Days 2026 to promote agrotourism

The South Aegean Region, in collaboration with Open Farm, is launching the ‘South Aegean Open Farm Days 2026’. Scheduled from October 19 to October 25, the event aims to promote gastronomy and agrotourism across the Cyclades and Dodecanese islands.

Participating farms, production units, and processing businesses will open their doors to the public, offering guided tours, tastings, workshops, and immersive experiences. The initiative is organized into two main island routes: the Cyclades Open Farm Days and the Dodecanese Open Farm Days.

The program is designed to support local producers by providing them with digital profiles on the Open Farm platform, exposure through communication campaigns, and participation in ‘Train the Farmers’ educational sessions. These sessions focus on agrotourism, storytelling, hospitality, and sustainable practices, helping producers connect more deeply with tourism and create additional income streams.
