South Africa Home Affairs opens office at Centurion Mall, Pretoria

Home Affairs Minister Dr Leon Schreiber officially opened the Department of Home Affairs' new office on the upper level (Shop 330) of Centurion Mall in Pretoria. The branch has been operating since earlier this year, and the ceremony marks a milestone in the Home Affairs @ home reform programme that seeks to locate services nearer to where citizens live, work and shop.

The relocation addresses long‑standing problems at the former site, such as inadequate infrastructure, security concerns and the illegal sale of queue positions. The new premises provide a modern, accessible and secure environment and support the department's push to deliver services through digital channels. Minister Schreiber thanked officials and staff for ensuring uninterrupted service during the move.
