South Africa PowerBall jackpot rolls over to R52 million for July 31 draw

The South African National Lottery’s PowerBall draw scheduled for Friday 31 July 2026 saw its jackpot roll over to an estimated R52 million after a previous R45 million prize was missed by two players by a single PowerBall number. The two near‑miss winners each received R228,238.90. The draw also featured a PowerBall XTRA jackpot of about R24 million.

Sizekhaya Holdings, the operator of the National Lottery since June 2026, reported that more than 161,000 participants won prizes across all divisions, ranging from R10 up to the near‑miss amounts. The winning numbers for the PowerBall draw were 3, 12, 27, 36 and 47 with the bonus ball 15. The next draw is set for the same time on 31 July, with tickets required to be purchased before the 20:30 SAST sales cut‑off.
