South Africa Springboks prepare for November Test against Italy

The South African Springboks are set to begin their November Nations Championship tour with a match against Italy on Saturday, 7 November, at the Allianz Stadium in Turin. Head coach Rassie Erasmus is expected to announce his team selection on Monday evening.

The touring squad includes six uncapped players: Yaqeen Ahmed, Sebastian de Klerk, Luan Giliomee, Markus Muller, Riley Norton, and Emmanuel Tshituka. If Markus Muller features in the match, he will become the youngest Springbok player in the professional era.

Following the fixture in Turin, the Springboks are scheduled to face France on 13 November, Ireland on 21 November, and conclude the series during the Finals Weekend in London from 27 to 29 November. South Africa currently leads the Southern Hemisphere standings in the Nations Championship, tied with New Zealand on 15 points.
